Technology That Supports Learning
Digital Learning
Pupil wellbeing, purpose and ambition remain at the heart of everything we do. Alongside strong academic foundations, technology is introduced carefully and intentionally to support creativity, collaboration and deeper engagement with learning.
From Years 3–6, pupils use iPads where they genuinely add value across a range of subjects. They are particularly effective within STEAM lessons, where technology supports design, creativity and problem-solving, allowing pupils to explore ideas in more dynamic and engaging ways.
Technology is used with balance and purpose, ensuring pupils develop confidence and independence without losing the importance of hands-on learning and real-world interaction.
A distinctive feature of the Radnor House Prep curriculum is the thoughtful balance between traditional teaching and modern innovation.

Building Confidence, Creativity And Digital Responsibility
Pupils are supported to develop the skills they need to use technology with confidence, care and independence. They learn how to research effectively, think critically about information and use digital tools to create, present and communicate their ideas.
Alongside this, a strong emphasis is placed on digital responsibility. Pupils are guided to understand how to use technology safely and thoughtfully, developing habits that support focus, wellbeing and positive online behaviour.
Through this approach, pupils leave with more than technical ability — they develop the judgement, awareness and confidence to use technology in a way that is purposeful, balanced and meaningful.
