At Radnor House Prep, innovation and balance go hand in hand. The school’s purposeful integration of IPads into everyday teaching and learning continues to be a real strength – helping pupils to explore ideas creatively, deepen their understanding, and build confidence as digital learners.
From interactive lessons to collaborative projects, iPads are used across the curriculum to enhance learning and equip pupils with the digital literacy skills they need to thrive in an ever-evolving world. Importantly, technology never replaces the fundamentals of great teaching or the value of human connection. Written work, discussion, play, and time spent away from screens remain at the heart of school life – ensuring a healthy and balanced approach to learning.
Digital learning is also part of the school’s Parent Talk programme, giving families insight into how digital learning is embedded across the curriculum, to see examples of best practice, and to learn more about how the school maintains a healthy balance between digital and ‘unplugged’ learning.
As the school continues to refine its digital strategy, the focus remains clear: to inspire curiosity, support well-being, and ensure every child develops the mindset, skills, and values needed to thrive – both in the digital world and beyond.
