At Radnor Prep, we will be extremely lucky to have access to senior school level facilities when we move to Pope’s Villa in the future, including a gym, theatre, music rooms, science labs and performance spaces. These will provide ample opportunities for our students to explore and express their passions outside the classroom.
In the meantime, our Kew Foot Road premises feature two superb STEAM spaces, a science lab, rooms for music, and drama and, now much closer, plenty of space for PE and Games for all, including competitive sports fixtures at Richmond Rugby Club. There is a lovely spacious playground, access to a swimming pool, school hall, and library. The brand-new STEAM rooms are fully equipped for a combination of traditional practical skills alongside the more focused product design. Exciting projects such as the Dyson Award, Formula One design, drone coding and building, motorized race-ready boats, and stop-motion animation all form part of our new and exciting STEAM curriculum.
Clubs run every day after school. We take the lead from our students on what is offered. At the moment, we are envisioning everything from coding to art club, robotics to choir, and chess to ballet.
Individual music lessons are also available in a variety of instruments as well as opportunities to sing in choirs and be part of school bands.
There will be a full range of sports offered to all pupils using the splendid facilities at Richmond Rugby Club.
